Netherland has won the toss and elected to bat first. They gave a good start. There first wicket fall on 56.Then India was on track. India did not allow them to play all 50 overs.They scored 189. Sehwag was on fire. He scored 39 of just26 balls. Then India started losing wickets. Yuvraj and Dhoni built up a good partnership. Yuvraj scored his 50. India has won the game by 5 wickets. The man of the match was Yuvraj who scored his 50 and took 2 wickets.

India v/s Ireland

India has won the toss and elected to field first. Porterfield gave a good start but there early two wickets made them sad. Many batsmen came scored some runs. Porterfield was doing an excellent job. He scored 75 runs’. O'Brien was run out by Kohli.They just scored 207 runs.Yuvraj took 5 wickets in the match. Sehwag was out on 5 runs. Gambhir was out on 10.Sachin scored some runs, he was also out. Kohli was run out. Dhoni and Yuvraj built up a good partnership. Dhoni was out. India has not hit a six even once but when Yusuf came to the crease he was raining sixes. Yuvraj scored his 50. The man of the match was Yuvraj Singh because he took 5 wickets and scored his 50 also.

This was the second match for India and England both. India was batting first. Sehwag got many chances but finally he was out. I was sad.Gambhir and Sachin built up a good partnership. Sachin was hitting sixes. Gambhir was also out. Then Yuvraj came to the crease. Sachin scored his century. He was also out. Dhoni and Yuvraj scored some runs both of them were out. Then the team started scattering. India scored 338. Andrew Strauss gave a good start to England. He scored 158 but after his wicket they also started getting out. Munaf Patel got a six in an over and the match was tied. The man of the match was Andrew Strauss for his excellent knock of 158.

India v/s Bangladesh

India taking on Bangladesh, the first match of ICC cricket world cup 2011.It was held in Mirpur {Shere Bangla stadium}. India has won the toss and elected to bat first. I was really happy. Then both countries national anthem was sung. Sehwag and Sachin were the openers of team India. Sehwag was playing fiercely. After sometime when Sachin was playing on28.He was run out. Then Gambhir  came to the crease. He gave more chances to Sehwag as he was playing freely.Gambhir was out. Then came Kohli. He was clearing the boundaries and Sehwag was hitting sixes.Sehwag scored 175 and was out. India scored 370.Bangladeshi openers Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes.  Kayes gave a good start but Kayes was out. Many batsmen came but no one was in form. But still they tried there best. Man of the match was Sehwag because of his hard work

Lohri festival

Lohri is a festival of Sikhs. On this day all the farmers in Punjab cut their crops happily. Many people celebrate Lohri with a bonfire. 

Especially in Punjab people organize very big events in which there are many dances and competitions too. I also celebrated Lohri very nicely. 

Near my house there was bonfire first I thought they are warming themselves.Then I remembered that today is Lohri  I also went there ,they all were celebrating it with great joy. There was a big speaker and Punabi songs were playing and they were also doing Bhangra. We also danced.

After sometime we thrown some Pop corns and some dry fruits as Prasad on the bonfire and then we took a round of a bonfire. We also eaten revri,ghazak,popcorn and peanuts.

 When I came back home I saw my mother cooking some special food I asked my mother what is it? she told me that we cook this food “Mangaudi” on Lohri. After that I ate Mangaudi with green chutney, it was very tasty and then I slept.

One amazing fact is that Lohri night is the longest night of the year.

Cricket - The World's 2nd most popular sport

Cricket is a very old sport. It was invented by the Britishers. A large number of people play this sport and so it is the second most popular sport in the world. The first match was played between England and Australia in 1877.

Cricket is an outdoor sport. If you go in any city, village or town you will find that young children only want to play cricket.

There are many famous players who play cricket exceptionally well. There are three forms of cricket

1. test cricket
2. one day cricket and
3. 20-20.
   
   
   Now let's describe these forms in detail:
   In Test matches it is a game of five days.

In One day, the name suggests that it is a game of one day. It is of 50 overs. The third form of cricket 20-20 is the most exciting game of all the three forms, it is of 20 overs.

When a cricket match is held, all the cricket lovers come to the stadium to motivate and enjoy the game. Those who cannot come to watch it live they are able to watch on the television. When the match is going its just looking like a war is going on.

All young children want to be cricketers. I also want to be a cricketer as I am a young boy. Our country India's ranking is No.1 in all the forms of cricket. Our country's captain is Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Sachin Tendulkar - I believe that you all may be familiar with this name.He is the God of Cricket he has played the maximum numbers of matches and scored the maximum number of runs in International Cricket.Sachin Tendulkar has scored 51centuries and 46 centuries in one day matches.

There are many more famous cricketers like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Mike Hussey, VVS Laxman, Rahul Dravid, etc.

My first day in the class V

The very first day of the school was exceptional. 

The first day of the new session was on 5^th April. In the morning I got up wore my uniform came to school but there was a confusion which class is V-B.Then we decided where to sit after that we went  to the assembly. 

It was a special assembly. After prayer Sister Anjana and many other teachers welcomed the new students and teachers. The teachers told us about other religion, read the Holy Bible, Gita, Quran,and Guru Granth Sahib. After that we sang national anthem. 

Then we came in the class our class teacher was absent. Then we wrote the time table.Then we danced,read about computers. After recess we learned English and after that the school was over. It was a nice day.
