Cricket - The World's 2nd most popular sport

Cricket is a very old sport. It was invented by the Britishers. A large number of people play this sport and so it is the second most popular sport in the world. The first match was played between England and Australia in 1877.

Cricket is an outdoor sport. If you go in any city, village or town you will find that young children only want to play cricket.

There are many famous players who play cricket exceptionally well. There are three forms of cricket
  1. test cricket
  2. one day cricket and
  3. 20-20.

    Now let's describe these forms in detail:
    In Test matches it is a game of five days.
In One day, the name suggests that it is a game of one day. It is of 50 overs. The third form of cricket 20-20 is the most exciting game of all the three forms, it is of 20 overs.

When a cricket match is held, all the cricket lovers come to the stadium to motivate and enjoy the game. Those who cannot come to watch it live they are able to watch on the television. When the match is going its just looking like a war is going on.

All young children want to be cricketers. I also want to be a cricketer as I am a young boy. Our country India's ranking is No.1 in all the forms of cricket. Our country's captain is Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Sachin Tendulkar - I believe that you all may be familiar with this name.He is the God of Cricket he has played the maximum numbers of matches and scored the maximum number of runs in International Cricket.Sachin Tendulkar has scored 51centuries and 46 centuries in one day matches.

There are many more famous cricketers like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Mike Hussey, VVS Laxman, Rahul Dravid, etc.
