The IPL 2012  has started from April 4,2012 and will end on May 27, 2012. It will be on for 54 days. The CSK & RCB match was against the two southern giants [Chennai and Bangalore]. It was a very good match. 

First Innings: - Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and elected to bat first. Gayle was on fire from the start. Mayank Aggarwal also played a good hand of 45. Chris Gayle went to pavilion when he was on 65. Kohli scored 56 but after his wicket no one came in double digits. They scored a good score of 205-8. It was looking like Bangalore will win the game.

Second Inning: - Chennai Super Kings got a good start because of Faf Du Plessis and Vijay. The first wicket was of Murali Vijay. He scored 11 of 15 balls. Raina scored 23 of just 14 balls. Then came the ‘captain cool’ MS Dhoni. He played a very good innings of 41. On the other hand D Plessis scored good runs and was caught by Virat Kohli. Then was the wicket of MS Dhoni. At the fall of Dhoni’s wicket CSK needed 42 from 12 balls.  Virat Kohli was bowling the 19^th over and on strike was Albie Morkel. He scored 28 runs. His runs were very valuable but lost his wicket on the second ball of the 20^th over. They needed 13 of 4 and Bravo was on strike but by mistake R Vinay Kumar bowled a no-ball and Bravo did not miss the chance scored a boundary. They needed 9 of 3 balls and bravo managed to hit six on the off side area. They needed 3 of 3. Vinay bowled a dot ball and then they needed 3 of 2 balls. Bravo rotated the strike and then they needed 2 of the last ball and Jadeja got a boundary and CSK won the match by 5 wickets.

Man of the match.:-  Faf Du Plessis for his remarkable innings of 71.

My Result

My result

It was 3^rd March and it was my last exam and I was feeling very happy because it was my last exam. It was Hindi. I came back home happily and showed my question paper to my parents and told that it was a very nice exam. I just could not wait for my result. On 12^th of March it was my result date. On 11^th I could not just sleep that night.

 Next day when I went to the school I was very anxious to get my result. My class teacher told me that I am passed and I am promoted to class VII-D. She told my parents that he has done awesome in the class. I was given my report card. I saw it and in each subject I got A1 and A2. My parents gave me a treat. I felt very happy. Now my new session will begin on 21^st March. I am very excited to go the new class.

World Series Hockey

WORLD SERIES HOCKEY

World Series hockey is a tournament of hockey. In this tournament hockey players from all the countries can play. Firstly there is an auction in which the franchisees of all teams select players. The teams are as the following:-

1.      BHOPAL  BAADSHAS

2.      CHEENAI CHEETAS

3.      CHANDIGARH COMETS

4.      PUNE STRIKERS

5.      DELHI WIZARDS

6.      KARNATAKA LIONS

7.      SHER-E-PUNJAB

8.      MUMBAI MARINES

After the auction the franchisees select their team’s captain and their coach.

The rules are as the following:-

1.      Instead of two halves there are four halves .

2.      Each team has total 25 players but only 18 can play.

3.      Each team will play 14 matches 7 at home and 7 away.

4.      The champions will get Rs 4 Crore.
